A building has several rooms and doors as shown in the top view of the building given below. The doors are closed initially.

What is the minimum number of doors that need to be opened in order to go from the point P to the point Q?

Top-view rectangular building with P in the bottom strip near its right end and Q in the upper-right region. A full horizontal wall separates the bottom strip; one door near its left end connects it to the region above. An upper central narrow room extends down from the top boundary, with one door in each of its left and right walls. From its bottom edge a vertical wall extends to the bottom-strip boundary, with one door. A horizontal wall from the left outer boundary stops short of the left wall of the upper central room, leaving a gap; on the right a short wall extends rightward from that room but stops before the outer right boundary. Four grey door rectangles are identified by arrows from the word door. All outer walls are continuous.
