Reformers should understand that people are influenced not only by writing but also by an authentic life. Lokmanya Tilak and his idea of Swaraj reflected his extraordinary and pure thoughts in his life, and therefore his authority was established. His writings were considered a reflection of his conduct and commitment in life. It was the authenticity of his life that gave strength to his statements and examples.
