Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was the second President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi. He held the office of President from 3 November 2004, after the death of his father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, until his own death on 13 May 2022.
