Correct answer: B

Answer: 1320 km

Let the distance between the two trains be d km.

  • Relative speed = 50 + 60 = 110 km/h.

  • Time until meeting = d / 110 hours.

  • Distance traveled by the first train = 50 × d / 110 = 5d/11.

  • Distance traveled by the second train = 60 × d / 110 = 6d/11.

  • Given their difference is 120 km: (6d/11) − (5d/11) = d/11 = 120.

  • Therefore d = 120 × 11 = 1320 km.

Hence the distance between the two trains is 1320 km.
