Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: B
The Chalcolithic Malwa culture site of Navadatoli, on the southern bank of the Narmada opposite Maheshwar (Madhya Pradesh), was excavated by H. D. Sankalia during 1957–59 (with S. B. Deo and Z. D. Ansari) on behalf of the Deccan College, Pune. These large-scale horizontal excavations revealed the settlement pattern and socio-economic life of the Malwa culture (c. 1900–1400 BCE), establishing it as a major Chalcolithic tradition of Central India.
