Application

The Sifung (also written Sufin) is a long, side-blown bamboo flute central to the Bagurumba dance and other folk performances of the Bodo community of Assam. It is so closely associated with this community that it is officially recorded as the “Bodo Sifung.” Hence the instrument belongs to the Bodo people.
