Which method is used to concentrate copper pyrite ore?

Concept

An ore-concentration method is selected according to the property that distinguishes ore particles from gangue. Sulphide ores are generally concentrated by froth flotation because their mineral particles can be made water-repelling and can attach to air bubbles, while the gangue remains wetted by water.

1. Copper pyrite, CuFeS2, is a sulphide ore of copper.
