The World Crafts Council (WCC) is an international, UNESCO-linked body that designates select cities with an outstanding, unbroken living-craft heritage as 'World Craft Cities' — the tag recognises a city's traditional handicraft industry, artisan community, and its role in sustaining that craft economy, rather than any single monument or festival.
