Which fair is called the ‘Kumbh of Tribals’ of Rajasthan?

The Beneshwar Fair, held in the Dungarpur district of southern Rajasthan, is popularly called the ‘Kumbh of the Tribals’. It takes place at Beneshwar Dham, near the confluence of the Som, Mahi and Jakham rivers, during Magh Purnima (January–February). It is dominated by the Bhil tribal community, who gather in huge numbers from Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, making it the largest tribal congregation in the state — hence the comparison with the Kumbh Mela.
