In Microsoft PowerPoint, managing and organizing your deck often requires selecting a specific group of slides simultaneously.

To select a contiguous or sequential block of slides, the standard Windows/Microsoft shortcut relies on the Shift key.

1. Go to the Slide Thumbnail pane on the left side of the screen.

2. Left-click on the first slide of the sequence.

3. Press and hold down the Shift key.

4. Left-click on the last slide of the sequence. All slides between the first and last will immediately be highlighted and selected.

Pro Tip: If you want to select slides that are not next to each other, use the Ctrl key instead and click each slide individually.
