Correct answer: B
Let the marked prices of A and B be 4m and 5m. Equal selling prices give 4m(1 - d/100) = 5m(1 - (d+18)/100), so d = 10. Then common SP = 3.6m. CP of A = 3.6m/1.20 = 3m and CP of B = 3.6m/1.25 = 2.88m. Profit difference = 0.12m = 384, so m = 3200. Hence CPs are Rs. 9600 and Rs. 9216.
