Correct answer: A

Let the current amounts be P, Q, R, S and T.

From the first condition, Q = P + 300. From the second, T = S + 500.

Also P + R = 2T and Q + S = P + R. Solving with total 15000 gives P = 3200, Q = 3500, R = 2800, S = 2500, T = 3000.

So R has Rs. 2800.
