Traditional post "Barua" belongs to which tribal community?

The Barua is a traditional post within the Kol tribe of Madhya Pradesh. The Kol — one of the largest tribes of the state, settled mainly in the Vindhya districts of Rewa, Satna, Sidhi and Shahdol — organise village life through a panchayat whose hereditary or chosen offices include the Mahto (headman), the Bhuihar and the Barua.
