Which one of the following is a phase of the Deployment process?

Cloud computing planning for an organisation is carried out in three broad phases: the Strategy Phase, the Planning Phase, and the Deployment Phase — each made up of a small number of concrete steps.

The Deployment Phase is the implementation phase and consists of exactly two steps: Selecting Cloud Computing Provider (choosing a provider against SLA terms) and Maintenance and Technical Service (sustaining service quality after go-live). So "Selecting Cloud Computing Provider" is the step that belongs to the Deployment process.

The other three options all belong to the earlier Planning Phase, which evaluates risks and requirements before any deployment begins:

• IT Architecture Development – identifies the applications and technologies an enterprise will need, a Planning Phase step.

• Business Architecture Development – recognises the business risks of moving to the cloud, a Planning Phase step.

• Transformation Plan Development – formulates the plan for transitioning current operations to the cloud, a Planning Phase step.
