Following are the standards for admitting a student in an engineering course. The student must:
1. Have passed 12th standard in science subject with Maths and have scored at least 65% marks.
2. Be of 19 years of age or above as on June 30, 2010
3. Have scored 70% marks in entrance exam
4. Be able to pay the fees of Rs. 25,000 at the time of admission.
5. Satisfies all above conditions except (3) but has successfully obtained 85% in 12th standard science exams should be raised to the authority.
6. Satisfies all above conditions except (4), but can pay half the amount at admission time, can be tentatively admitted.
Below are some cases. The decisions for all the cases are to be taken on the basis of above criteria:
Anirudh Thakur was 18 years of age on 15th February 2009. He was successful in scoring 68% marks in his 12th standard science exams with Maths. He obtained 76% in the entrance examination and can pay Rs 25,000 as admission fee. Should he be admitted in the engineering course?
