About the DSSSB exam
DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) is the Delhi government body that recruits for posts in departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi — including Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions such as TGT Computer Science in Delhi government schools. Selection is primarily through an online Computer Based Test (CBT); shortlisted candidates then complete document verification (e-Dossier) and a medical examination, and the merit list is prepared on written-exam marks. How the TGT Computer Science paper is structured
The TGT CBT has two sections. Section A covers the general, non-technical ground: arithmetical and numerical ability, general intelligence and reasoning, English language and comprehension, Hindi language and comprehension, and general awareness. Section B tests the subject itself — for TGT Computer Science that spans computer fundamentals and architecture, operating systems, DBMS, computer networks and security, programming with data structures, OOP and Java, Python, web and internet technologies, digital electronics and Boolean logic, software engineering, algorithms, emerging trends, and teaching methodology.
