Hello everyone, my name is Piyansu Saha, a B.Tech (2020–2024) graduate. I am seeking career guidance.

In GATE 2024, I scored 45 marks through self-study. Last year, I have not prepared specifically for job opportunities. If I dedicate this year to focused preparation and appear for GATE 2027, would that significantly improve my chances of securing admission to a good IIT?

@piyansusaha Dear Piyansu,Yes, dedicating this year to focused and structured preparation can significantly improve your chances of securing admission to a reputed IIT through GATE 2027. Scoring 45 marks in GATE 2024 through self-study indicates a strong foundational understanding of core subjects. This is a commendable starting point and suggests that, with systematic preparation, substantial improvement is achievable.
