If you have applied under the OBC (NCL) category, please carefully note the following as per the KVS/NVS Recruitment Notification 01/2025:
1. OBC-NCL Certificate – PROFORMA-I
If you already have an OBC-NCL Certificate in the prescribed Central Government format, then you do NOT need to carry a separate PROFORMA-I. PROFORMA-I only specifies the format/requirements of the OBC-NCL Certificate. Your certificate should have the signature of the competent issuing authority and the official seal.
2. PROFORMA-I-A – OBC Declaration
This is a separate document and must be carried in addition to your OBC-NCL Certificate. You need to fill it yourself and sign it, mentioning your Full Name and Address as required.
📌 In short:
OBC-NCL Certificate (as per PROFORMA-I) → Authority’s signature + official seal
PROFORMA-I-A → Candidate’s own signature + Full Name + Address
So, if you already have the required OBC-NCL Certificate, there is no need to separately carry a blank/filled PROFORMA-I. Carry your original OBC-NCL Certificate + PROFORMA-I-A.
