Dear folks,

Is anyone here preparing for DSSSB TGT Computer Science?

How has your experience been with the Aptitude (Section A) course?

I recently completed the Percentage topic. Yash Sir explains the basics and calculation tricks very well, and it really helped me improve my calculation speed.

However, I noticed that many important word problems were not covered, such as:

  • Successive percentage

  • Expenditure & consumption

  • Price increase/decrease

  • Income, savings & expenditure

  • Profit/loss percentage-based problems

Because of this, I had to rely on a quantitative aptitude book and AI (Claude) to understand and practice these questions.

I also checked the Ratio & Proportion lectures, and they seem complete.

I have no issues with Section B (Computer Science). Sanchit Sir's teaching is excellent. I had already watched his GATE Computer Science lectures on YouTube, and they helped me a lot. That's one of the main reasons I enrolled in this course without any hesitation.

Has anyone else felt that some Aptitude topics are missing, or is it just me? I'd like to hear your experience.

Maybe I'm the one not following the course correctly. My momentum has broken—I was happily following the lectures, but for the last two days I've been stressed because I had to stop and study these topics from other sources.

@pu5hk4r yes , I have faced similar issues. Sometimes I have to look for certain topics from other sources

@pu5hk4r yes, i also noticed these questions were not covered well

@dubeyshishir , I appreciate that the Arithmetic section has now been reorganized. However, a few lectures still seem to be missing. For example, in the Number System section, 2.1.1 – Basic Concepts & Classification has no lecture. Should we start directly from 2.1.2, or will the missing lecture be uploaded later? I also wanted to mention that, despite having enrolled in the course, I had to study Percentages on my own using books and AI. I learned topics like successive percentages, expenditure–income–consumption–price, weighted percentage, and other shortcut techniques independently. I watched the 22 June guidance session, but I couldn't find any discussion regarding these missing lectures. If some topics are intentionally left for self-study, it would be helpful if that could be communicated clearly. The course's guidance is valuable, and we're happy to put in the required hard work ourselves—we just need clarity on what is expected to be covered by the course and what we should study independently. Thank you, sir.

Also I’ve noted your feedback regarding the missing aptitude topics. I have consulted with Yash Sir, and he will be re-recording those sessions to cover the gaps. The updated content will be uploaded soon—thank you for your patience and for helping us improve the course.

Hello @pu5hk4r and everyone, Some topics require foundational knowledge from multiple areas—for example, Profit and Loss problems often build on percentage concepts. My recommendation is to watch the full lecture in one go before attempting the practice questions. This approach should help you solve the PYQs more effectively. Please know that we are actively reviewing the course content; we are working on refining existing lectures and filming new ones to cover any missing topics. We appreciate your patience and your dedication to learning. Keep up the great work!
