Job Description
We are hiring Student Mentors to provide dedicated support to learners on the KnowledgeGate platform. As a Student Mentor, you will be the first point of contact for students — resolving their doubts, guiding them on how to use the platform, and ensuring a smooth learning experience. This is a full-time, fixed salary role with 9-hour shifts (Work From Home). Unlike sales roles, this position is purely student support focused, where your primary responsibility will be to assist students — whether they are enrolled learners or prospective learners with queries. You will play a vital role in ensuring student satisfaction, reducing confusion, and building trust in KnowledgeGate.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to student queries through WhatsApp, calls, and platform chat support.
- Guide students in accessing videos, assignments, and live classes.
- Resolve basic technical issues and escalate complex cases to the backend team when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in student support, mentoring, or customer service will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of Computer Science concepts; graduation in Computer Science (B.Sc., BCA, B.Tech) is preferred.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using WhatsApp, chat platforms, Zoom, and other online tools.
- Strong communication skills (English & Hindi) with patience, empathy, and a student-first attitude to support students effectively.
